Someone else already had a thread made about this but seriously this seems a tab bit racist, other then the fact they're both asian why would you compare them? they have very different styles of magic.
close up magic is not a style. it is HUGE subcategory of magic as a whole. There is no reason to compare the two and they have quite different performing styles.
I did a forum on this and it was weekly magician vs magician, which didn't really go that far. Anyway, you can not compare them! Yes, they are both close up magicians! But Shin Lim's stuff can be very heavily gimmicked whereas all of Patrick Kun's stuff is impromptu and sleight of hand based! Gimmicks and sleight of hand are two different worlds man, these two can not be compared.
