Hey, in the smooth operations trailer there are a few colour changes... Seems a stupid question but are these taught on SO?

Yep! Everything in that video is taught.

The one that you're talking about is called the inverse impulse change. Very good looking and very simple too

Yes Everything you see will be on the booklet. And you will not believe how easy inverse impulse is (not to mention it can be continuously repeated).
