In the 1-on-1, you discuss the difficulty of the move and its relation to other moves such as the table faro. In your opinion, why is it important to learn things of such great difficulty, if other easier methods work just as well, other than the obvious reasons such as self-gratification?
Also in the 1-on-1, there is a lot of talk about the history surrounding the move. Could you talk a little bit about how knowing the history of a move may help with the work on the sleight itself?
Finally, what does it take to perfect something so impossible? I mean, look at a person like Ricky Jay. He's said himself that he's still always learning, but he is clearly at a level beyond what simple practice can achieve. There's clearly something more going on there. What does it take to get to that point?
