Talent Show

Okay I'm working on my act for my school's talent show and I already have the top three things I'm doing:

Dresscode
Jumbo moving spots
Rope routine

Now I want to do more things but I'm not sure if they're the best ideas for my acts:
Hummingbird Card
Linking Rings
Six card repeat
Airtight
Needle thru balloon

If you have any other ideas for effects to do for a talent show it would be much appreciated if you responded

If you are just an "act" in the Talent show, how much time to you have for your slot? I would say keep your act to 3 effects or 4 at most. If you are entertaining the crowd and have proper patter, 3 effects could take up 10-15 minutes easily.

Personally I'd throw anything card related out the window for a talent show on a stage unless you are using jumbo cards. I'd open quickly to music and dress code and then go into a rope routine like Fiber Optics and then use your Jumbo Moving Spots. Then finale with something else very quick and visual like a production or vanish of something.

Just my thoughts.
