Agh.... I was going to watch it yesterday but the first five minutes didn't get me interested... I'll check it out next week!
Yeah, I watched the first two episodes. Lots of references to magic. But its seriously not a good show. So many cliches, bad writing and even some bad acting.
I have mixed feelings as well. I like it because it is a bit over the top like an old comic book, and for the magic references. Is it a great show? No.. Do I enjoy it? Maybe just a bit...
I can't find the article, but I do believe Ricky Jay is one of the technical consultants to the show. I'll let you know more if I happen across it but keep in mind that Max Malini is one of Ricky's heroes.
