The Fanning Powder Question

I had a thread in the product reviews on fanning powder a week ago but this is different. Is fanning powder only good for flourishing. Will it mess up a deck of cards if put too much? Will it increase the life of your deck? and most importantly do you use it and what do you use it for (for flourishing or card magic)

I do not use fanning powder for my deck. As a flourisher and a card magician, fanning powder is for people who love to fan out smoothly especially when it comes to card flourishing. Now, if I put the powder in my deck, sometimes, it can mess up my trick for magic. Practise fanning is what makes practise worth it.

If you apply too much fanning powder it can temporarily make a deck hard to work with, but the powder wears off. I use fanning powder on most of my decks because I like to fan my cards, and I also perform the cobra cut and it makes the cobra much easier by causing the cards to stick to each other to some extent. I apply it mainly for flourishing, but I use the same deck for magic as I do for flourishing.
