I like the new design more. Now the D's camouflage in better with the design for those who thought the D's ruined them. I personally didn't mind the D's but I don't want to make this an argument so I won't type anymore about them. I love the feel of these cards and they are very close to if not my favorites
definitely helps for me. those DOuble D's turned me OFF . I can't believe I just said that on here...
You guys are swayed pretty easily. Not that much of a difference.
I find it funny that Mr. Bayme said that, considering dananddave have said for a while that the quality won't change.
Quality ALWAYS changes. It's impossible for two deck runs printed months apart to feel exactly the same under the current conditions of custom card printing at USPCC. Heck - the White Centurions were printed on the same card stock as the latest run of regular Centurions, but just about every single person that has held them can tell a subtle yet immediate difference.
You are correct that the grade and type of card stock was not changed - but subtle variations in the amount of finish, depth of impression, and print conditions can result in noticeable effect. Summary, synopsis - these feel great.
The second edition of the critically acclaimed SMOKE&MIRRORS playing cards have arrived.
