Thumb Fan

I'm not just a new kid who can't do this, but with the thumb fan I can do it about 180 degrees, and I have seen people like De'vo, Dan and Dave and many other who get it much farther. Any advice on grip or handling or anything? It's not like I'm using a crappy old deck, but I just can't get it far.
Please, any advice?

i would recommend the Fanning section in Xtreme Beginners (XB) or Jerry's Encyclopedia of Playing Card Flourishes ... both have Jerry explaining how to really widen you Thumb and Pressure fan. What you want is a nice Circular looking fan.

Learn a fan called the Side-Spring Fan from the Encyclopedia of Playing Card Flourishes. It's a fan technique designed to fan virtually any deck, maybe no 100% plastic devil cards but a lot of dirty decks will fan.
