Practice a lot in front of a mirror, then, when you've got the angles down, practice a lot in front of a wall, so you're not used to looking at yourself. Check back with the mirror every now and then to see how your angles are and so it won't get lonely.

Also, i would suggest filming yourself, watching it, and if neccesary, adjusting your angle of performance.;)
