It is true, magician's are use to medeochrity ;).

You guys almost all mentioned the same book (hense almost, not all) and I can't say I disagree with any of you, those are great books.

But how about, apocolypse or card fictions?? Well those two are my favorite.

if you are a big card guy (or gal)
then get Aaron fisher's book the paper engine
some great moves and even better tricks (but it is a little advanced) (not a beginners book in my opinion)
