Right now I'm really enjoying The Magic of Alan Wakeling - Steinmeyer. Its a great read and has a surprising amount of material in it.

The Paper Engine by Aaron Fisher is a metaphorical killer. The Gravity Half Pass that is taught it is worth the price of the book alone. Aaron Fisher is a masterful and omni-knowledgeable teacher, and the book serves as a conduit from the genius of mind to ours. Definitely a top ten must-have book.

OOOO TARBELL is a great one. harry lorayne who has heard of this guy. My friend gave me his apocalypse vol. 1-5 many wonderful older moves and great undergound oldie tricks. and before my friend gave it to me. I have never heard of the guy. good stuff in there though lots of info.l

Tarbell Course in Magic is a must have for ALL magicians. No doubt about that. I have the whole collection, and they are just AMAZING.
