Can anyone help me answer my question?
Who invented triumph?
I think it is Dai Vernon we again can thank for another great card effect, and I also know it was first published in the book ''Stars of magic'' But i am not sure if he was the creator of the effect.
If anyone knows, I would be glad for the help.

I'm no expert, but I believe Vernon was the first to do what we now call Triumph. There is a trick in Royal Road, also on this site under the name Sloppy Shuffle Triumph, but it's significantly different from Vernon's triumph, and I'm not sure which was published first.
 
It was invented by Vernon, and named by his son (whose name I can't recall at this moment). Its first appearance in print was as part of the Stars of Magic series.
