I'm not quite sure what the nature of this post is. I suppose it's half bragging. Half venting. Mostly trying to work my nerves out ahead of time.
Tomorrow night at the Magic Castle (if anyone is local to Hollywood you may want to check it out) I'm sharing the stage with some of magic's finest in celebration of Edgar Allen Poe at the Night of the Raven. This will be my fourth year with the production, and this year I'm sharing the stage with Jonathan Pendragon. -whom I grew up idolizing. This is an amazing experience for me. It's one thing to join the ranks of fellow magicians and perform the craft, but it's another completely different thing to be on the same playbill as someone you looked up to as a kid doing the very thing you love. I'm certainly not star struck, but very, deeply honored for the opportunity.
I'll be doing a book test from Rick Roth called "Luna". Evil little thing if you are familiar with it. Very creepy.
I'll of course make sure I post to let everyone know how the shows go. Until then!
