Hi can anyone point me in the direction of the source of the first prediction effect in this video. The only method i can think would me some sort of sw*** gimmik but this version looks excellent because the prediction is placed in an envelope. If it is in print I would love to know where so I could get it.

You could do that with a swami no probs, look at the way he "closes" the envelope!

Have a look around, the led can be changed in most, but you can get many other types, super sharpie by magicsmith is one of the best EVER!!!

I was just looking at the Super Sharpie, http://www.mjmmagic.com/store/the-super-sharpie-from-magicsmith-p-603.html and the Sharpie in the picture dosent look like a normal Sharpie. Is that what they look like?

I completely agree with Dee on this one. I use this before I perform the swami gimmick and people have never noticed. I have performed it roughly 300 times now to maybe 700 people, and nobody said anything about the sharpie or asked to inspect it.

I am curious however how he was able to write in the envelope. His hand structure screams swami gimmick, but I just don't see how he was able to write down.

I don't think this was gimmicked though, don't bother trying to reverse engineer Derren's, just think in your mind what you see as the PERFECT dem and reverse engineer that
