Wand Production/Hanky-To-Wand

Im not very informed regarding parlour tricks, but im quite keen on learning how to do that specific wand production. Any ideas? Cheers.

Edit:

Aside from the obvious- what's the difference between a metal cane and a plastic cane? in terms of performance..etc.

Im aware that its wrapped in a coil-like mechanic when its compressed. Is there a high chance of my skin getting caught in between when it is sprung?

I have some experience with both metal and plastic canes and I can say without hesitation, get the metal.

First, I have no idea why you'd ever hand out the cane as Chris said... Thats a dead giveaway.

In any event, the metal cane will hold up much longer and opens much faster and easier than the plastic version. Several times I've had my plastic cane bunch up on me during production but my metal version never has.

But didn't you say "Wand Production"? An appearing cane is far from a wand production.
