Wow. Lots of unhappy folks in this thread. Nothing wrong with a pointless fun topic every now and then in my opinion, so I'll play along because I happen to know the real answer.
"C+" is a reference to a Mike Rowe outtake (the Dirty Jobs guy) in which Mike finishes a take after what looks like an exhausting day of shooting and knows that he's going to have to do it again. So, he starts making his case to the crew: "That was good enough right guys? C+? C'mon, embrace mediocrity."
I think that sentiment struck a chord because we've had more than one of those filming days. So now, it's a running joke when we're having trouble getting a take. Houchin will finish, know that he's going to have to do it again and then start complaining to me about how C+ is good enough and we should just stick with that last take.
