What about future custom cards by theory11?

Hello all! :)

Except from Ellusionist's Viper deck, all custom made decks are of Bicycle brand. This includes decks from E, MagicMakers, Di Fatta, etc. I know that Bicycle is the most used deck, not just among magicians, but also among regular card players. But there are several other commonly used brands by USPCC too. I'm primarily thinking of Tally-Ho, Aladdin and Bee, but also Aviators. I therefore hope Theory11 would consider something else than Bicycle the next time around, because there should be enough custom Bikes out there by now. Bee might not be very attractive due to the lack of borders (unless one is considering the "Premium Casino" version) and a rather dull back design, but the good old Aladdin deck could need some artsy amplifying soon in my opinion.

What do you guys think? :)

Since I've been getting into magic and cardistry I've noticed that Tally Ho's are a VERY popular card of choice. Other than the Vipers there aren't any special custom Tally Ho cards. Their back designs are awesome, why not make some special tallys too?

Vipers and Tally-Ho's are very nice cards. I guess it all comes down to personaly preference really. I've made a concious decision to use bicycles for here on out so I'll have at least some type of consitancy with handling a deck of cards.

To be honest, however, I don't really envision a custom version of Bee's or anything like that. That isn't to say though, that if they did come out with some that I wouldn't try em' out first.

I personally don't care what deck I use as long as it works for me and the best for what I do. I hope they make more custom decks. If they made a new Tally-Ho deck that would be awesome, I unfortunately am stilling waiting to get my hands on a Tally deck but, from what I hear they're awesome. I like Bee decks as well, my grandma has like 15 decks from the Casino she goes to and I like to do XCM with them I like the stock. But, I'm fine with any brand as long as it holds up to the standards on which we rely =]

Like...Jerrys maybe....Hopefuly.

Nah... Jerry's Nuggets are higly sought after mainly because of their handling quality/feel and the fact that they're pretty rare. I don't think many find those very handsome or eye-appealing. Very plain backs, with a drawing of the ugly neon-sign of Jerry's Nugget casino. :D They were made for a specific casino in Las Vegas, rather than being a standard brand of playing cards. These factors combined are my arguments for why I don't think a remake of Jerry's would do.

Cheers! ;)

Well, maybe they would want to make a more colorful deck? I mean, with all those black and white decks coming from all over the place (mostly from Ellusionist), someone should make a color statement. Like a deck called "red dragon" or something. ;)

MagicMakers has always made custom decks with different colors, but I think they are a bit sloppy with the details. They don't bother to do anything cool with the backs, and no redesign of jokers or aces. Just plain color-changes. I like the colors of their newest deck, The Purple Deck, which can also be seen here. But look at that horrible joker for instance, with black filling between the spokes.

Maybe T11 has a mythical (not dragons and stuff) theme with their cards. Like there are guardians. Maybe there will be something like devil's advocates or ...Feathered blah blahs.

You're right...
Michael Ammar once sneezed on Justin, and well, you know the rest...

It's equivalent to being bit by a radioactive spider. So I'm pretty sure one of his new tricks will allow Justin to literally scale tall buildings. Or make cards which never crimp and have little micro chips inside which lets them have an invisible forcefield around them so they cannot get wet or dirty but are able to be held by human hands, and causes them to become un-sweaty......or maybe not, you never know
