Well, it all depends on the audience. Different crowds will react differently to the same trick of course; you have to be able to judge your audience and pick the right routine for them.
I've been having a lot of fun lately with my "stress-free speller" trick - I couldn't believe the reactions that this little gem received when I first started showing it to people, but it's proven to be a real winner. Especially with a tough crowd, which shoots it right up into my favourites list
