When you are practicing flourishes...

...Do you practice one move over and over until you perfect it? Or do you choose a couple and practice those over a longer period of time?

I usually only deal with a maximum of two flourishes (new ones) and practice it over and over until I perfect it. Of course, I don't neglect the ones I already know and do them too.

I asked some top cardistry guys like Ambrose (Its cool how they all have facebook), and their advice seems to be variety
I found doing as many as I can to be faster and efficient at learning
I do about 5 at a time and keep practicing until I get resonably fluid, then learn new ones
(Still practice the old ones again and again forever too)
I think that way you can master more things in a limited amount of time
