Where did you see yourself in 5 years with magic?

In 5 years, what do you think you will be doing in magic? will you still be doing street magic, performing for friends? Or our you going to try to get a job and work as a professional magician? our you going to get into stage? do you hope to make tricks of your own and release them?

Where do you see your self in 5 years?

Personally, I have no idea. I hope in 5 years I will be able to do everything on the trilogy disk 1.....

But I do think it would be great to make some new stuff. Thats what I'm working on now. I would like to work as a magician. But right now it looks like I may do something in security. If thats what I decide I want to do. But in the grand Scheme of things, what I really want to do is make a movie.

In 5 years is hard. I play to be in the west coast area working steadily at a restaraunt doing table hopping magic. I plan to get my first gig at Denny's here in a few weeks! Other than that... I'll be going for my Psychology major but I'll be finishing that in about 5 years so... Yeah.

Well the whole plan is that I will major in Psychology and minor is Marketting and my friend is going to major in Small Business... Then we'll set up a small magic store and offer private lessons. On the side I'll be working as a psychatrist maybeh, once I get my PhD.

Later I plan to fall into a vat of nuclear waste and mutate.

Biggest Aspirations (in truth): Be able to socialize with the big guys... Wayne, Dan, Dave, Kenner, Fisher, Daniel G and especially Lee Asher and Brad Christian. < They got me started! Hopefully that'll all happen in five years... Except the PhD part. That'll take about 8 and a half.

I hope to be doing some regular table hopping magic, and maintianing a regular walkaround on the side of my guitar career (Teaching, professional caliber player)

I'm a freshman in high school now, so my personal goal is to go pro before the time I graduate.

I am willing to fail high school a few times if it will help me reach my deadline.

I am happy with what I am doing now. Play with my cards during spare time. Perform for corporate events and private parties once in a while to get extra income and buy more magic books or DVDs to learn, it is fun.
I never thought of getting famous or be a professional magician in the next 5 years. I would also call it as a hobby with benefits as Dan put it.
To be more specific, of course I would like to call myself an expert in sleights and flourishes, not very interested in gambling sleights. Will see how it goes.

In 5 years time I hope to be working at a casino in Vegas while continuing to perfect my "l33t skillz" and eventually go pro. I'd rather do what Wayne, Danny G. and Justin Miller (just to name a few) are doing right now than performing on stage.
