Where to get coins?

Aside from paying several hundred bucks on e bay for "collector's" coins, where might I be able to get some walking liberties for fairly cheap?

The thread title made me laugh terribly, you can try antique shops, they alot of unusual stuff in there.

the magic warehouse carries walking liberties as well as kennedy half dollars from 1964.. .the walking liberties are $10 USD.

Its interesting that no one has mentioned a coin shop. Look in the phone book for a coin shop and ask if you can look at their "junk" coins or their "slicks".

The price of silver pretty much determines the price of the coin.

you can also try local banks. if you go in and ask they usually wont have them but find a nice teller and ask her or him to set them aside or contact you next time they have someone bring them in and you hit gold. i hit up my bank 1 to 3 times a month and i always come away with some great coins.
