Windows Movie Maker

I don't know if anyone can help with this, but, What type of file does the video have to be for me to put it in windows movie maker? It won't accept quicktime files.

If you could also describe how to get it to that type of file that would be great!!!

This comes straight from the help files in Windows Movie Maker. These are the supported file types that WMM will read:

Audio files: .aif, .aifc, .aiff .asf, .au, .mp2, .mp3, .mpa, .snd, .wav, and .wma
Picture files: .bmp, .dib, .emf, .gif, .jfif, .jpe, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .tif, .tiff, and .wmf
Video files: .asf, .avi, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv
