Wynn Decks Review and Comparison

Hey guys. finally got my package from gamblers general store today, so I decided to write a review of the purple and red, but also compare them to the brown.

Red
This deck kind of caught me off guard. Each single card is very thick, which gives it a unique finish. They almost feel like plastic. Don't get me wrong, they are good cards, but they are pretty weird-feeling. As far as stock goes, i found nothing unique. They feel like the same stock as your normal bikes. The color is brighter than i expected. I thought it was going to be a dark maroon color, but its not as dark as it may look on video. I think is a pretty good deck. They handle pretty well,, and are quite good for flourishing. I'll give them an 8 out of 10.

Blue
This deck feels like no other deck I have ever held, and that says a lot. They have a very unique finish, a little like the red, but they are stiffer. These are VERY stiff. took me about an hour of springing and shuffling to really break them in. They hold together very nicely. They don't fan all tha great though. Once you break them in, they fan okay, but I think the red is has an overall better smoothness. these cards are also very purple. I though they'd have a hint of blue, but these are straight up purple. This is a very different type of playing cards. I'll give them a 9 out of 10.

To be honest, I like the browns the best. They hold together great, spread and fan like a dream, and once they are broken in, feel like no ther deck of cards. If your going for just stock and feel, I'd look into getting some browns. If you want a deck with more vibrant colors, then go for another color.

Awesome review man! I might think on picking me up some reds, along with about 8 bee decks! Browns are just ridiculously expensive for a deck of cards!

Hope you are enjoying 08!

I'm don't find the colour embarassing as it's not like crazy dayglow purple in natural light. Indoors without much daylight they look more blue than anything else.

Its pretty purple. Its not what I expected, but I still love em! Its like a vikings jersey purple.

I agree with some of your points. The Blues/Violets are rediculously stiff. I've been playing with them for over an hour and they are still so stiff. The reds however are stiff, but break in easily and allow for doubles and other things a lot easier than the blues.

I prefer the reds over the blues, but I prefer both over the browns actually. It seems like the browns are pretty much dead and clumpy after a couple hours, these seem to last a lot longer.

Browns aren't bad by any means, they fan better and feel better, at first... But after playing with all the colors browns just seem to die on me so much faster than these.

I honestly could have cared less if the reds and blue/violets handled like **** just because of how much I like the back design. I can't even use regular bikes anymore...

I got my two bricks today but I didn't get to try blue wynns because dananddave.com sent me 24 red instead of 12red12blue. I really wanted to try the violet. I haven't heard from Dan yet after emailing him.

the red and violet wynns have tinier divots in them compared to the brown wynn, allowing for a really smooth feel to them. i must say these decks are very impressive and in my opinion are better than the brown ones.

btw the violet ones are clearly violet, they are in no way blue no matter how blue they may look on the internet these are straight up violet :D

I can see why the Wynn Casino didn't have very many brown ones made, and its quite simply because you can't use them for more than an hour before they start to clump.

I still think browns are amazing, but only for a short period of time. The red and violets are definitly far better in my eyes than the browns. But to each their own.
