Paperclipped

Of those of you who perform Jay Sankey's Classic Paperclipped, how many of you use a different colored back for the predicition?

Do you think the limited handling of the card makes up for the extra kicker?

I've experimented with the different coloured back but I am just so used to performing the good old original. However, there are some great handlings I have seen on the Revolutionary Card Magic DVD... I am not sure if those handlings are explained in the new Paperclipped Special Edition though.

To answer that, yes they are taught on the special edition

Paperclipped is a great effect because it is simple. I personally like just keeping it the same back, it gives the spectators something to grab on to, but once you change the back, all sense of hope is gone. It is like, the same back gives it a chance of possibility while the opposite back gives it a sense of impossibility which in my opinion, is not always the best way to go. Lets just say, you performed a few impossible effects, I personally don't want to hurt them once more, I want to let them think that they are ahead of me.
