Hi there!!!
Recently I miss placed my close up mat. Luckily the mat was very old and cheap so it wasn't that bad of a loss.

The question I came to ask everyone is what close up mat should I buy. Since I have not bought one in a while I'm not sure which ones are good quality.

I am looking for a mat from anywhere up to 50 dollars. I really would rather not spend more money then that. I hope you can help me. I would love to hear what mats you have and if you recommend them.

P.S. The mat can't be to small. It needs to be a substantial size. Also one last thing the mat needs to be durable. I will be using it quite often and want the mat to last a while.

Thxs for all your help Brian

I recommend : http://www.pmsmagic.com/mats.htm

High quality mats, different sizes, customizable, not 1-way mats (no groove), but also the bigger you get, the more expensive. I wouldn't too feel bad about spending more than 50 bucks for a really nice large mat, as you will be able to use it for a long time, provided you don't spill beer on it or something.

They who must not be named [ellusionist] sells a pretty decent mat. You can roll it up and unroll it and it'll keep it's shape. It's big enough for a nice sized ribbon spread from corner to corner.

Hope that helped!

I am very very cheap and haven't spent more then ten dollars on a magic pad. An exacto knife and a yoga mat is all I need. ^^Put two and two together and if you don't know what a yoga mat is, google it. Pretty much the same material used in closeup mats. Plus some come with designs that you can cut out and make a mat that is uniquely yours.
