    Goshman Pinched hard!

Well it should be firm enough that if you shook your hand it shouldn't fall out. Similar tension to palming a coin perhaps. The important thing is that it looks as natural as possible from the front. Keep practicing and you will get it!

    Goshman Pinched hard!

Sounds like you are opening your hand and keeping all your fingers level. Your pinky needs to be further back while its holding it. It's a balance of not being too far back that it looks fishy. This also helps with people seeing the edge flashing because the visible angle changes.

    Mount Rushmore of magic

Oh man, I suppose it would be people who have created major changes in magic as perceived by the world. So I would start with: Houdin Houdini Vernon Copperfield Blaine Then I think I would remove Houdini , or get a bigger mountain and do 5 faces.

    Business Cards?

I just did up a simple one this time around. I designed it in a way that works with a peek that I sometimes do as well as one other effect that requires that I write on the card. Chris mentioned something important with cards - ask for other people's cards. I would just add the reason that it...

    Android or iPhone

A good discussion for another place. Most new phones will be just fine to watch magic videos on the major sites. Going to lock this because it's not about magic but best of luck choosing your new toy! Feel free to continue the conversation in a private message

    Publicly Pricing

It's not so much about number of years before you get to a certain level, but rather it matters more -how many shows have you done, and are you growing as a performer. For instance, I have been doing paid shows since 2001, but part time, and in recent years, I have bulled back because of my...

Thoughts on David Blaine's Fallon appearance

Well, I found it hard to watch - like a train wreck: I couldn't look away. And as far as entertainment goes - like it or hate it - you can't say he didn't invoke an emotional response!

    The downfall of magic club's

We have an active club. There have been some really foundational people who have kept it going over the years, and more recently a guy who really is excited about pushing it forward. He's done a great job. They bring a lot of lectures (including club members sharing tips and tricks), brown bag...

    All the Different monarch versions.

I think the big box is pretty neat to be honest. Obviously it's a novelty, but very cool. As for the original test print monarchs (144 decks) the tuck boxes are pretty much identical with no markings that are different because they were intended to be the production version...

Thank you to All the Mods here !!

Really this community is the best. It's the contribution of many, and a general low amount of toxicity. The internet is a vicious place, and here carries an element of mutual respect and understanding.
