    Music For Magic

The one website that I get all of my magic music from is magitracks.com. It is completely royalty free, and though I don't like all of the music on there, I find lots of it perfect for my routine. I think that in your scenario, using Dana Hocking's music would be fine. He's got some great...

    My Top Shot

That's looking really good man, nice work. All you really need to do is practice, as everyone else has said, but I think the only thing you need to work on is timing. Try to close your fingers around the first edge of the card that comes in, because if you grab too late, it will probably...

New 1-on-1 :: UNTITLED by Luke Dancy :: Now Available

I think I got the jist of the effect from the preview, but cool and creative nonetheless.

    Sorcerer's Safari Camp

Arg... I really was planning on going this year, but it turns out that because I'm 14, I can't travel outside of the U.S. alone, and my parents don't really have time to drive me or to take a plane/train with me. Oh well, next year, I'll go for sure.

    Editing Software

Jashaka is a great open source editing program. It offers you some very advanced features while being easy to understand. However, if you've got some money to spend, I highly recommend Apple's Final Cut software.

    Tricks to Teach First Graders?

I think that the floating cup is probably your best bet, but one trick that I remember learning in first grade was "Magically Multiply your Money". I remember doing it with pennies and nickels back when my hands were smaller, but I think that most 1st graders should be able to perform it with...

    "Civil War Era" Playing Cards

That's pretty awesome, I'd love to see if they look anything like the replicas I found. I remember seeing an actual deck on ebay for $6,000 (plus shipping :p). There were no pictures of the deck, and the guy who was selling them wasn't what you'd call credible - so I decided to lay off on...

    "Civil War Era" Playing Cards

Hey guys, I just picked myself up some "Civil-War Era" playing cards down at my local hobby shop. The cards themselves are pretty neat. They've got an alright back design (a little too "flowery" for my taste), but it is asymmetrical, making it possible to do some cool effects. The faces are...

Who do you feel are the top creators in magic today?

I don't have a favorite magic creator, or creators, for that matter. I perform with my own style, and there are some effects out there that fit me perfectley - regardless of creator. I know of some stage performers who simply created an awesome close-up effect, and vica verca. It's about the...

    Street Magic

Recently, I got a fine for doing some busking downtown ($250, way more than I usually make) - and yet I am not old enough to apply for a license. All areas are different though, I have done some busking in front of law enforcement officers and they have had no problem with it (somewhere in...

    A question for every magician?

If I had no cards, coins, gimmicks, or anything like that on me, then I would perform David Copperfield's Arm Twist, Joshua Jay's Hand Scam, the Balducci/King Rising Levitation, an impromptu levitation of a spectators item, and multitudes more - the possibilities are endless.

    Whats with Jerry's Nuggets!?

Use the search button. J-Nuggs actually are great cards - I have a few decks, and they feel great. Because famous magicians use them, and they are no longer printed, they fetch extremely high prices. Luckily for me, my dad actually had a few decks that he gave me (from the actual casino)...
