I have a favor to ask you all!

Thanks for the votes, everyone! :D That is correct. Though if you think I'm referring to my main public video, than no. This is just a small thank-you video that I won't even be performing in. :) -Vince

I have a favor to ask you all!

It has to do with the webisode that I'm on, "The Guild". :) There is a contest going on within the very Guild itself! There is a poll for people's favorite character. It's on "The Guild"'s main website, at http://watchtheguild.com/ a little bit down the page and on the right side. Show some...

    Virtuoso Type Flourishes

Though you have a high likelyhood of learning a move incorrectly if you do it that way. :( -Vince

    Anger Problems...

Probably not the best habit to get into, lol. Laymen: "Whoa, you're pretty good with cards, can you show me some stuff?" Performer: "Sure!" Performer drops a card. Performer: "S**t! F**k! You f***ing ****!" Laymen promptly craps himself. Haha, I'm kidding. But still, swearing...

    Hot Shot Cut

The standard way to do it, that being the way Daryl originally created, can be found in a couple of his products, and in the Xtreme Beginnerz DVD. People have made variations of Daryl's original move in the time since he released it, and while they are useful and often pretty, I personally...

Joey Burton & The Skater Cut

It wouldn't be very responsible for him to recommend a place for you to learn the move off of a performance. Nor is it what this forum is really for. If you MUST tell eachother what these videos are, please do it over the Private Messages. :) -Vince

    Anger Problems...

First of all, this isn't weird or not normal. I was the same way when starting out. I got very frustrated. Just do the move nice and slow, and if you mess up, just take a deep breath and do it again. If a particular move is giving you a lot trouble, just stop doing it for a couple of weeks...

    Virtuoso Type Flourishes

Cool, cool. But also remember not to overwork yourself, there can be such a thing as too much practice -- overworking the fingers and all. But it takes a lot to get to that point. :) -Vince

    Virtuoso Type Flourishes

Scott & Sean also offer a tutorial for a flairy move sort of like what you're talking about. It's called Mantis, and can be found at the following link: http://decknique.net/forums/thread:3432 -Vince

All Flourishers Called - Massive JAM This Week!

If it's 9:30 PM in a time zone that is GMT -6:00, do some time-converting to find out when it will be where you live. :) I know, it can get a little confusing. :( -Vince

    Best XCMer

The other people on the list don't call themselves XCM'ers, I think that was Jonas' point. Anyway, polls like these are generally not a good idea, they don't serve much purpose beyond putting people against eachother. Locked. -Vince

I'm ready for the next level of XCM!

Cardshark88 is not the way to go. In fact he teaches some things INCORRECTLY. Incorrect methods are not methods to learn. I say, if you're looking for fancy cuts, pick up The System. Then go for the Encyclopedia of Playing Card Flourishes. But check out my sticky in this forum, it has lots of...
