I've been meaning to buy this trick for literally years but have never gotten around to it. I've decided to buy it now but have run into a bit of a tough decision. I've seen two different versions of this trick. One is called the Magic Cartoon Deck and one is Card Toon. Do any of you know...
Personally, I didn't really like it that much. I really like shifty though. Also, Totally Out of Control is amazing.
One thing to know is that it teaches a different version of shifty than the one here. I prefer the one here by the way.
Don't worry. Like I said in my post it can be good. Tough love works. Besides, I find it amusing at times. And it's good to know that no matter how good a performance is, there's always at least one person there to give advice.
And also I think it's great the way you encourage people to...
I forgot to mention this earlier.
Also, many have posted threads offering their complaints about the community and attempt to "change" it but it isn't going to happen. Honestly, why waste time attempting to change the community when you could spend it succeeding in changing yourself for the...
I completely agree with everything you said.
Also, I know people are harsh here (yes i'm talking to you RDChopper) but I really feel as though it's pushed me to become a better magician. I've mainly conquered my nerves and I really feel as though my performing skills have increased due to...
Well it depends on the effect you're performing. If you want your spectators to think you're really magic then flourishing is probably a bad idea. If you don't want to seem actually magic but more give the "how did he get that card between those two aces" type reaction then I think flourishing...
Cool. This looks really cool. Someone compliments you on your cool shirt and you tell them to pick a number and concentrate on it. You then read their mind. Very cool.
Is that really all there is to the trick or do you have to make them change their number a lot to force one.
I recently purchased the Jason England 1-on-1 teaching the Strike Second deal and have been working on it for a while now. I really like it so far and have actually thought of some ways to use it to replace certain parts of my effects. I have one question though. Could you guys post some...
I'd recommend one of E's gaff decks. The ghost has the best cards but I'd recommend the red one because it just looks a lot more natural. One of the problems with the red one is that it has lots of really suspicious cards like The Raven and The Seer and the zipper because they have special...
Why are so many artists leaving Theory 11? I don't really get it. I've heard a bunch of ideas but no solid answers. Are other magicians starting to get mad at Theory 11 for some reason?
