I'll try and explain this again in laymen terms....An artist that sells a his product to the PUBLIC, then that product NO longer belongs to the artist it now belongs to the consumer. If the consumer decides to sell HIS (bought and paid for purchase) as a used item on Ebay then thats HIS product...
