To me, a magician is a person who can put someone into a state of wonder. Not only that, but also a person who can lift spirits and connect with random people on a personal level (like previously stated).

I'm not saying our spectators are dumb when it comes to magic. I'm just saying that a gaff trick will make them want to think it's magic. There's no doubt that they will back track the trick later. But for those few moments, they'll want to think it's magic.

My advice to both of you is to speak slowly and clearly. And if your spectator ruins your trick, always have a back up plan. I suggest knowing the card before hand so if this does happen, you can still reveal the card. Also, perform in front of a mirror and practice your patter. Good luck next...

What helped me was performing in front of a wall. That way you don't have a reflection or air in front of you. Recording helps also. And if you shake when you perform, take a deap breath and think about what your going to do next. It'll be okay.

I make cardistry videos while listening to rave music. If you haven't heard rave music, look it up. It's always fast so it's really cool. Sybil combos and flourishes look really good when in sync with rave.

The effects I do that people really remember are Control, Sick, French Kiss, and Angle Zero.

Whenever I perform, I usually control a card by using the Bluff Pass, Fan Control, or the Spread Pass. Spread Pass is my favorite.
