    Magic Apple Day Of Lectures

I'm not in around that area, but if I was, I would definitely go for the free water they're giving away after the first lecture. I have, however, seen some of those lectures and they're great!

    A Trick With Nothing

I think unnecessary attention is brought to the marker, as its the only object in play. You're using an invisible shelf, invisible paper, an invisible cigarette, but a real marker. To follow with the "invisible" theme, it would make much more sense to use an invisible writing utensil, and it...

Card to Wallet and Fire Wallet

You should check out Shawn Farquhar's card to wallet from his Bread and Butter lecture notes. The prop will cost you about $1.50 and you can put it into your normal bi-fold wallet. In a sense, it adds features from a Mullica wallet into an organic prop. It's the only one I use!

Which is a better 3 Fly Routine?

Please note, Eric's Mirage et Trois does NOT use only three coins. My philosophy is this: if you're going to be using an extra coin, you might as well make the extra coin some sort of gimmick. An Expanded Shell, Flipper, or best yet a Sliding Shell work excellently.

    Asking Her To Prom

Whatever others say in this thread, I think asking a girl to a high school dance using magic is a nice idea. I did it once! If the girl is supportive of your magic and enjoys it, I see no problem. If she hates it, well that's a different story. :)

Ideas for a plastic (PVC) card?

I've played with that idea, but because of the images and how they would appear, I opted for the written words.

Ideas for a plastic (PVC) card?

Hey guys, I'm working on a new trick using a PVC card, which is the same size and thickness of that of a credit/gift card. I found a fun site that allows you to design your own plastic card for around $10. I have purchased a few cards from this site and they turn out great...

    Michael Grasso on AGT

Yes, it's sad that Grasso got kicked off. However, I thought his last illusion didn't even make a lot of sense. To me, it would've been a better trick if he was in the box, and not his brother who looks like him from behind. It was way too obvious that multiple things were going on behind the...
