    Hard Coin Magic

Probably KnuckleBusters by Reed McClintock, and Giacomo Bertini's stuff. Scott.

    BoBo's Modern Coin Magic

A lot of the coin and silk stuff is still modern and relevant. The stuff on coin gaffs is great; I also am a fan of the section on sleeving. Scott.

    Coin Matrix

    1. Hello, Neo? - This is not a Matrix effect. This is Chink-a-Chink. Al Schneider's Matrix is a trick utilising a hands-off feel, because the coins are not touched by the hands- they are covered with cards throughout. 2. The backfire - you took too long from showing them and then...

Looking for half a Kennedy Half Dollar?

I've been away... and I am back

What's new? I haven't been on this forum for MONTHS. And even then, it was a brief visit. Just curious, as this forum for coins is pretty dead looking to me... Not many people doing coin magic these days? There are threads on the first page dating back over a month. No one has anything...

Ready to vanish a coin for REAL?

Lol "no cuts, no editting, no camera tricks" And yet the entire video is editted into grayscale. Kinda "fickle" , wouldn't you say, Cornelius? Scott.

    Only Four

Hate the trick with the fire of a thousand suns. It ruins Matrixes that actually look magical, and gives away the only magical part of Shadow Coins. (Taking a moment to breathe again,) Scott.

    Coin (Not Money) Magic

You probably think that the above answers were useless to you. Don't blame you, they were. Why does everyone assume you haven't even read Bobo's thoroughly? Sure, you may have missed a lot of the AWESOMENESS that is Bobo's book, but honestly, that book is NOT for everyone. It's a...

Looking for half a Kennedy Half Dollar?

If you're cutting coins in half, (a) Use cloth around the coin to avoid tool marks, and (b) Fix any warping by flattening that sucker out in a press (again, with a cloth padding to avoid clamp marks). Scott. PS: (c) If you're younger than 12, get help to do this!

    What next?

Bobo's is essential, but in place of that you could also go with David Roth's DVDs on coin magic. These are the BEST options for a person in your situation. Scott.

    Classic Palm

You would never want your hand perfectly flat. Just natural. Also, If your classic palm is too high, then you're probably using the wrong muscles. It's gripped from the sides of the palm, not from the top and bottom muscles. If you have a weird bird claw lookin' hand when you're...

Flying Wombat by Kainoa Harbottle (Impromptu Raven Effect)

Coins on Edge, by Kainoa Harbottle spiralbound, 113 pages HISTORY The title gives away what this book is about- edge grip. Kainoa is a respected master of this grip, and even appeared as a prominent member of the Edge Grip Forum during the Coinvention. Edge grip was a grip that wasn't...

    3 to 4

Pretend to place your three coins in a purse, really fingerpalming them, on an offbeat. Put the coin purse (empty) in your left pocket, and go with the fingerpalmed coins to the right pocket, and pick up your extra. If you don't use a coin purse, you can still mime putting them away, and...

    $4.04 More for Guardians

As an employee of the magic shop in question (The Vanishing Rabbit Magic Shop), I feel the need to respond here. Our cards are $8.99 (Canadian dollars) because we're in Canada and it reflects the cost of Duty, Canadian Goods and Services Tax, and Custom Brokerage charges. If shipping were...

One of My Creations - The WHITHER CHANGE

The angles are the same as the angles in the whither vanish. It is definitely practical for the real world, and I've checked extensively to see if it is original. So far, I have not found any record of a change even remotely like this in method, althought the APPEARANCE of it has been seen...

One of My Creations - The WHITHER CHANGE

This is a quick, QUICK video of it, so that everyone can see it if they like. It's based off of apollo robbins whither vanish, and uses a two-inch vertical muscle pass. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNe3OtIIZBs THOUGHTS? Scott.

    Coin Switch

Try a fingertip shuttle pass, a one-handed thumbpalm to fingerpalm switch, or absolutely ANY switch of any kind. If you're getting caught on a coin switch, it's most likely just that you're drawing too much attention to that moment. Work on being casual with the coin before the switch, so that...
