Scott Baird Demon-strating a Reed Mcclintock masterpiece

Thanks ayli! And Sean, that in the hands chink a chink is awesome, isn't it?!? :) The kardguy thing is sort of a joke. Scott.

    Scott Baird RUINED 3FLY!

Glad you all found it entertaining. It is "different" , but that's kind of the point. :) Scott.

New handling for a jumbo coin?

The idea can be used many ways, as a vanish, production, etc. Start with it ready, end with a ditch elsewhere... The possibilities are endless. I would never perform that exact routine live, though. Scott.

New handling for a jumbo coin?

Bizzaro- I understand what you're saying. And thanks for watching! I think it's practical, in a sense. You wouldn't want to be standing there like that for a long time, though. :P Randomwrath... glad you liked it. Scott.

New handling for a jumbo coin?

This is a new idea I had for handling jumbo coins (whatever those are). You seemingly start and end with hands that are empty of jumbo coins. The idea is to ring in the jumbo and get it out of play without ever going near a pocket. Let me know what you all think, and what I can do to make...

Scott Baird Demon-strating a Reed Mcclintock masterpiece

Knucklebusters is a series of 6 booklets (3-4 coin tricks each) put out by Reed McClintock and Curtis Kam between 2002 and 2004. They are out of print and widely unnavailable everywhere (especially the older ones), except for maybe ebay now and then, or in the back of a magic shop's bookshelf...

Scott Baird Demon-strating a Reed Mcclintock masterpiece

Based off of "Seven the Hard Way" by Reed McClintock (Knucklebusters), this routine is my attempt at bad humor and coin productions. It's done a bit differently than Reed does it; the patter is mine, unfortunately; and, the ending is also something I added to the routine. I know I've...

    Scott Baird RUINED 3FLY!

Scott Baird RUINS 3FLY- and he's back again! Hi. I'm Scott Baird. I can do a Fat Albert impersonation. Ignoring that, I've never really liked 3 fly. I loved it. But there was something that kept me from performing it. What didn't I like about it? All the transfers. Duh! Only the...

    Peter Harrison

Good random internet rule of thumb # 34598: A static site isn't always a dead site. A static site is good for booking gigs, and client information. A non-static site is good for SEO and new information. A dead site is not. Peter, good to see you are still hard at work doing your...

Vanish with the aid of your time piece.

Well, adding tape to the watch would make it NOT as clean as just using your watch... but now I'm just nitpicking. Everyone under estimates coin to watch. Watch Greg Wilson do Coin to Watch and you'll see just how good this trick can be. Scott.

    Performance Video- My routine

I'm glad you all seemed to like it. It IS a long routine, but the good thing about it is that it's built in segments, so I can stop it anywhere if the appetizers get to the table quickly, etc. I don't promise hanging the coins in mid air throughout the routine in real life; I just say that...

    Performance Video- My routine

My routine that combines Beijing coins Across by Curtis Kam with Sanada's Wildcoin routine. A few surprises I threw in for me, and a clever little JW Change that I really like, as well. Let me know what you guys think! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_EugnzIGNE (Also, credit to Shoot...

    Digital Dissolve

You guys who think that all your coin gimmicks have to be Schoolcraft or Lassen are absolutely ridiculous. It's LUDICROUS to think you have to buy a 50 dollar C/S gimmick over a 10 dollar one. "Money-gicians" lol Scott.

    Best tricks/flourishes for Stage Magic?

Something BIG. You'll probably be doing this in a gym or a theatre, on something like a stage. Maybe something like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THyZ-ynSzD That's card magic that plays big.... literally. THe downside, is the twenty years of practice to get there. Scott.

    Digital Dissolve

In my opinion, it's not worth it. Just get a C/S gimmick and learn DIGITAL COPPER SILVER from David Roth's Expert Coin Magic. The magic happens in the spectators hands and is pretty easy to do. Scott.

    Spellbound

Actually, the move itself is just called the "spellbound change" because of the Dai Vernon routine "Spellbound", and it's use in it. Scott.

Any coins across routines out there?

Would have to hear more about how the effect looks to a spectator.... There are MANY coins across and coins through table routines (which are just jazzy coins across routines with a table in the middle) in print that use 6 coins, 6 coins and a ring, 6 coins and a special coin, etc. What...

    Silver Dream

There's 4. If you count vanishing each half of the last coin as one vanish each. So, in that regard... 4. Scott.

    Does Coin Magic...

I perform many different types of magic, but coin magic is the most requested from my audiences. Maybe not because it's the most magical... maybe it's because it's just more entertaining and more fun than lame card tricks, fake mentalism, etc. Does it have flaws? Sure it does. So does...
