Im sorry if i dont see how my question is confusing
if the spectator remembers their card incorrectly, after it becomes apparent, what do you say to save the situation
thanks for all the pointers, but still a lot of people are missing the point. I am not trying to learn how to help spectators remember cards, but what to do if you do all the right things and the spectator is convinced they are right. Some people are being helpful but others need to read more...
some of you guys are missing the point. this has nothing to do with my performance style, age of my audience, or really anything to do with me. this has maybe happened to me twice, just recently I started thinking about it. I just never am ready for that situation. I am not looking for ways to...
This is probably my least favorite situation in magic. You pull off a trick perfectly, you reveal the chosen card, and the spectator believes they chose a different card. Not a heckler, just an honest mistake. What are your outs for this situation.
card college is a great place to start if you are a beginner. Since you seem to have already covered the basics, AOA is a great place to go next. Paul Harris is a genius, and you will have tons of stuff to work on. It will keep you busy for a long time. Dont buy all three books at once though...
This 1-on-1 features three of Homer's "favorite pet vanishes"
So ill get right into it
Quality- What can i say, great quality like all 1 on 1's
Teaching- I really like Homer's teaching style. He makes everything simple as possible. He takes his time and all three moves are covered in...
first off, click that little search button and type double backed card, you will find some great reads from here. Also, check out the encyclopedia of card tricks, its a cheap book that has a whole section of tricks that use double backed cards.
It would be expensive to buy all the 1 on 1's but you really shouldnt need to. All of the deals are difficult and will take you years to master. Start out with the basics. Buy the second strike deal and bottom deal and work from there. You may find out you don't enjoy gambling moves like that...
I just saw this video of yours

and read the description..
you are planning on releasing one of Daniel Madison's tricks?
how does that not surprise me.
Penguin is the place to go. I bought a double back deck, double face, blank face, and blank back all at the same time and got the free shipping, and they are all good quality.
this is a very good question. I am honestly stumped. But at least I can be honest about it and not come up with some bull****. The reason I get hired is because around here I have created a good reputation with the gigs I have already done. That will not help me forever though...
I just found these cards at walmart, they do not have a name and the box looks exactly like a standard box of bikes except for the color. I have posted pictures below. If anyone knows what the correct name is please chime in.
LOOK: I am not a huge fan of the color or back design. All the...
