It honestly really depends on the amount of care you give them. If you're as overprotected as me and wash your hands constantly than your cards will stay clean looking for longer. It also helps if you keep them in the box when you aren't using them to prevent warping. Some decks work just fine...

Always try to classic force, even if you don't need to it is good practice. Try to force the card for a free selection trick, no one will know anything whether you succeed or fail and it will just build up practice with it.

No one will be burning your hands while doing a pass. The fact that you can do it seamlessly is just there in case people are looking at your hands. Sure it's satisfying when you do a pass in front of them and them but if you can pull it off it works.

I don't fully understand your struggle but If it is trying to make it more believable than I suggest just playing around with loops more because you can get some good distance with them once you get good at using them.

I personally don't use the bluff pass but it can be useful for some tricks. It isn't hard to learn, you just need to know your angles and you should be good. Just keep in mind that it exists because I have seen people who use a Marlo tilt than show it at the top to get it second from the top.
