in the beginning i loved it. there was the poker boom, i got the chance to handle cards. now after doing it for a number of years its sooo boring. very mechanical, i can do it in my sleep. i do things to keep my mind occupied while dealing. since i see cards everyday, i drill myself counting...

i love memorized deck work as well as mnemonics in general. i have a number of stacks memorized myself. the fastest ive timed myself to memorize a random shuffled deck is a minute and a half, now it takes me about three minutes simply because i havent kept myself sharp...i wouldnt however...

its obvious that this kid wants attention. the best thing to do, like Enzo said, is to ignore him, and everyone else trying to expose your effects. use this as a learning situation and develop the ability to smile and be cool about it, i would even go as far as not to perform for anyone in...

im not a card flourisher myself, im more involved in structured and routined magic effects. so my choice of cards would be tally-ho cards

you mention the "trilogy" and card manipulations at the same time. what are you looking for in particular? elegant "stage" card manips? or more cardistry moves? are you interested in learning single moves or routined magic?...
