    Hide and Seek

Hey guys! This is something I have been working on recently. The effects (except maybe the first one) are not original, but the story line I put with it is, and I have a lot of fun performing it. Hide and Seek Comments and Critiques are welcome. Thanks for watching! Your boy, Fez

    Glass by Adam Grace

Ok, yes that does help. But by practical, does that mean no set up? I'm not trying to expose, I hope it doesn't come off like that.

    Glass by Adam Grace

Wow great review. My Christmas list is already packed, but with some extra spending money, this is high on my list. This looks really good. Just a few questions, You said they are practical, does that mean in method and performance? How big are the pieces of glass? Can any dry erase marker...

    Method Help

You can spread the cards, thus covering up the odd backed card and use what ever patter justifies the spreading. Then you place the odd back somewhere in the middle without them seeing. I got this idea from TOOC, so credits to Chris Kenner.

    Amp up your performance...

Great post, I agree with pretty much everything on here. I'm a bit to tired to add anything right now, but I will once I'm ready.

New Version - Sam the Bellhop

Ok, just the story line reminded me of Sam the Bellhop, maybe because it's the only story telling trick Ive seen. :p Each one to his own, I thought it was ok, a bit to fast paced for the audience to react, so they couldnt get into it at all. Can you direct me to some other story telling...

New Version - Sam the Bellhop

Not sure if this has been posted before, but I think its a pretty neat version of Sam the Bellhop. Not better, just a cool version. http://videos.komando.com/2009/10/05/great-card-trick-tells-a-story/

Saturday Night Contest - Roundtable with Michael Hankins

What event made you want go "Gosh, I want to do THAT for a living!"? When you first learned magic, what the first effect you performed (for real people) and how did that impact your pursuing of magic? What was/is your favorite resource when looking for ideas for effects? To J.B. what if...

    stabbed in the back

I'm not totally sure, sorry. Seems like it, kinda like a small simple switch action. A bit knacky, but then again, the whole effect is.

    stabbed in the back

Its a pretty interesting trick, something fun to do I guess. Sadly, he does not teach that move. You get what you pay for in this case I suppose. Its a bit over 3 min. long, just walking through the effect once and gives an over the shoulder view. Wasnt to surprised as its just a tiny effect...

Magic product you would NEVER recommend.

Anything from Magicwhiz.com They are completly unreliable and have terrible service. I ordered a Jumbo Invisible deck from them, saying it would take about 5 days to arrive. It didnt come for about 2 weeks, and they said my order was cancelled and I recieved no notification and no refund. They...

    My Hofsinzer Effect

Oh, ok. Well that could be it then. Its quite possible, and be sure to always practice, there is always room for improvement. Yes I understand, and that is not entirely under your control, I only have webcams available too at the moment, but your working with what you got, and thats fine.

    stabbed in the back

New release from Dan and Dave: http://store.dananddave.com/stabbed-in-the-back-david-williamson.html Seems like a nice little trick. What do you guys think of it?

    My Hofsinzer Effect

I'm gonna be honest here, but dont take it personally. It was incredibly boring, there was no patter, only awkward silence as we watched you. At least put a song in there if your not going to talk. It was hard to follow with the constant switching between the deck and aces, and (I know this is...

    Signed Card to Orange?

Well the book suggests an orange for a bill anyway, and I'm sure that with a fairly large orange and some practice, it can easily work. To the OP, do you plan as doing this as a stage thing?

    Signed Card to Orange?

Mark wilsons complete course in magic has a bill to lemon effect, I'm sure with that method you can modify it to suit a card and oragne.

    What about Style in magic?

I like to be lightharted and entertaining, but at the same time make sure my audience knows I'm in charge and still respects me. I like to keep the mood uplifting, I really dont go for that "serious magical power" vibe. Most kids realize its sleight of hand, so I dont need to put on a show of...
