    Mass Material?

One of my all time favorite coin tricks which is dead easy to do is found in Art of Astonishment Volume 2. It's called England's penetration and consists of tossing a dime through a spectators hand. It never fails to get a great reaction and is about as self working as a coin trick can get.

    Magician Match.

My magic theory stems mostly from Garrett Thomas, Teller and Dani Daortiz but I think I perform most like Justin Flom. I don't see my self aligning with David Stone or Jay Sankey very well. Although I much prefer David's performances but I'm a big Sankey fan as well.

    Mass Material?

As far as coin material I perform the Tenkai Pennies routine from the Klutz Book of Magic and Eric Jones' Perigrination. My go to card effect is probably the Biddle trick.

    Ideal Parlour Show?

I don't think I have created an ideal show yet. Every night I perform I tweak something and chisel away at my own show but my current show is very far from what I consider ideal. Currently I keep my show very modern and family oriented. I start with a knife effect by Rune Klan Joshua Jay's...

Detailed Reviews of Almost Every Murphy's Lecture

Chris is a lot of fun to watch and is very talented. He teaches some of his most popular downloads on this lecture and most of what he does teach can quickly be applied to most magicians close up repertoire. If you are not sure go ahead and take advantage of Murphy’s new feature where you can...

    Guerrilla Marketing?

I've yet to come across something that has proved to be very strong. I don't think that there is really a hack for this. My fake reveal videos have helped to boost the popularity of my You Tube channel but they have also created a discrepancy between views and subscribers. I have a ton of views...

    A buyer's opinion

Just because it is a similar effect doesn't mean it is not original. If that were true then we would be stuck with a hundred old methods. It is possible that the tricks he lists are very different than the tricks you list. When someone says "I can make a coin vanish" you sound like a noob when...

    Back to the 50's

What would Vernon do? Much of Vernon's career was set in the 50's. If you are doing close up magic I'd start with him as many of his most popular ideas began coming to fruition in the 50's

    Insect Magic

Paul Vigil Released Ladybug through Paul Harris Presents. Nate Leipzig used to tear a piece of paper to look like a butterfly and it would turn into a paper white butterfly. It sounds like a miracle and is written up in Dai Vernon's Tribute to Nate Leipzig but the explanation in that volume...

What the heck is "the magician's turn"?

Which script could you not read? It is not a wrist keel. It is a dice move.

What the heck is "the magician's turn"?

I'm sure it is some type of paddle move. The description and illustrations both say that it is performed with the die held in between the first and second fingers though which seems to give less to the possibility of manipulation.

What the heck is "the magician's turn"?

Hey y'all, I received The Essential Dai Vernon for Christmas and am finding it to be a very difficult read. I feel like even Royal Road and Expert Card Technique, which were written at the same time as many of the selections in this book, are much clearer in description then most of the effects...
