    Next 1-on-1?

I think that 1-on-1's should be in a series. For example, there would be a few sleights and/or utility moves, then a trick that uses them. I think that would be nice. That way there would be a trick that would start them out, but it would force them to find other uses for the sleights. EDIT: I...

    XB or Everythingelse?

Also, I don't think anyone mentioned this yet, but XB, if I'm not mistaking, is XCM. Everything else is more flourishes and so on. The Encyclopedia of Playing card flourishes, has SO much material, that you wouldn't ever have to, let alone want to buy another DVD/Book on Flourishing.

    Magic or Flourishing?

I think I'm going to have to say magic. I agree, there are some VERY hard cuts, and flourishes out there. Cardistry takes a large amount of dexterity, and dedication, as many have stated already. Also, you don't need presentation in Cardistry. While doing magic, you definitely need to be able to...

    Table-Hopping

Thanks guys! So I guess my last question would be, how do I present myself? I mean who would I ask for a job?

    Your Favourite Effect

Thats a good question. :p I'm not sure if I have a favorite trick. My favorite trick changes. Whichever trick I'm working on atm, is usually my favorite. But if I had to pick just one, I'd say ACR, because theres so much possible.

    Table-Hopping

Ok, so I'm thinking of getting into table-hopping. I have a few questions for anyone experienced, or that knows about table-hopping. Where do you start? Also, does the restaurant pay you, or do you just work off of tips? And lastly, any other tips? Any kind of response would be greatly appreciated!

Who is your favorite magician and why?

My favorite magicians are probably David Stone, and Shoot Ogawa. I also like Bill Malone, Michael Ammar, and many others. But out of the list, it was a tough one. I picked Daniel Garcia. Hes an great performer, an amazing innovator, and hes hilarious. Plus he seems just like a great guy to hang...

    Something visual?

Well How about the Clipshift? If you didn't know, its taught on Chad Nelson's DVD Surfaced, which can be found on dananddave.com. Also Ray Kosby has some Visual tricks that can be found on his Impossible card magic DVD. These that I've mentioned so far are all gimmick less, and are accomplished...

    Role Play from Dangerous

Hmm. I'm not sure on this one. I wouldn't say that it would make it worse, but if they picked it themselves, then that wouldn't be the same idea, and it would no longer be a role play. Its an interesting idea though.

    Old School Magicians?

Ok, so I guess your saying that adding flourishes to your magic makes it better. I'd say it doesn't. Maybe adding a flourish here and there, could enhance it, but not make it better. Patter, or as you call it "Mouthgarbage" is what turns a "a cool trick," into an amazing performance that the...

    What should I buy?

It all depends what you like man. If you like Coins, I'd suggest Digital Dissolve. If you like Cards, maybe Dangerous or Panic.

Do you have a favorite card?

Mine are the Ace of Spades, and The Jack of Diamonds. Why the ace of spades? Because in all decks it has a different Spade, even if its a little different. Plus its the most coveted card in the deck. Why the Jack of Diamonds? I'm a teenager, so I'm not an adult yet, so Jack, then Diamonds...

    Don't Know What To Buy

If your looking for a book, I think that Expert at The Card Table is a good place to start. If you want a DVD, maybe Aldo Colombini's Standing room only, it has some great stuff, and nothing on it is too hard. But if you want something here, maybe Witness, or Believe. Both aren't too difficult...
