Those situations suck. I've done it a few times to celebs and business people and I've come to the conclusion that it's not worth it. Their whole schedule is organised for them so they're not likely to book you unless you do a trick that seriously impresses them. Good for you though.

You first need to ask where you want to work. I perform at nice bars, nightclubs, conferences and even strip clubs because that's where business people hang out. I think it's universal that a lot of the time you won't get booked unless someone has seen you perform and can vouch for your quality...

People try too hard to be original. It's incredibly difficult to come up with something truly original in any industry, let alone magic. I'm a fan of the old saying, "to be original be yourself".

Really enjoyed that. I've not seen lapping that good for a while and it seems quite original to me. I didn't particularly like the weird acting though.
