    Has it been done?

Why is it important to call it your own? Are you going to charge for it? What's important is that you created something cool, even if someone already did it you didn't know about it. It is still cool, and you did it. Feel good about it. Book

What does a closing and opening mentalism routine need?

Your opening should show what the spectators should expect for the rest of the show. Your closing should leave them wanting to see more. Book

    The Ethics of Deception

It is absolutely wrong to try and convince people that you have supernatural powers. It is completely unethical to call yourself a god. If you are performing magic for people, you are an entertainer, and nothing more. Book

    NEW MAGICIAN ALERT

Cups and balls, I say again , cups and balls. Even a basic routine will teach you how to manipulate pretty much anything you can hold. In my opinion, it is the most important thing to learn, even if you never perform it. Book

hello all, I've been practicing this little move in front of the mirror for....well too long. I'm at the point where I can't tell if it even looks cool, let alone if its convincing. I have fried my brain on this one, folks. Keep working it, or work on something else? Thank you for your input...

Brainstorming for Instagram video (need a one-handed card vanish)

If you're not going to gimmick, or gaff a card, the back palm is your best bet. Or you could come up with some elastic contraption and utilize your sleeve. Or you could have someone help you film it. Incidentally, I also prop up my phone on books or whatever when I need to film myself. Book

    I need your help!

It would seem that the deck was never produced. According to the small amount of research I did they were sold in packs of seven cards, intended as memorabilia. Dark night joker evidence cards. That's the best I can do, hope it helps. Book

    Card tricks and silliness?

Everyone does card tricks, if there's a Saturday night contest calling for a trick 90% of the entries will be card tricks. I would agree with O'Brien, work cards after you've determined the spectators are willing to take the time for you to perform a card trick. Just the opinion of a worker...

    Just A Quick Question

skill means more than the age of your deck. I couldn't care less ,when doing a move ,what deck I am using. Use all your old decks until a card gets torn. The look of on old worn deck can also help in shaping character and feel of a trick. Just my opinion Book
