Gimmicks are great.. when use sparingly. I think you hate them because you prefer the self-satisfaction that you did all the work.. which is fine, but you should also satisfy your audience and if gimmicks can do that, well, I'm all for them.

Ah okay, that makes sense. You know, I've realised that a lot of the stuff against E is quite exaggerated and sometimes a complete lie/rumour. Pretty silly. I still don't like their forums though, but that is of personal preference.

I'm sure I've seen posts edited because they mentioned other sites, though. I also recall some people having to give like, code names for other sites so they wouldn't get into trouble.

Well, one thing that I had in mind would be to use this with a levitation effect.. sadly, there aren't really any good ones on the market for what I had in mind, so my idea has been put into the back-burners.

Are you sure Distortion would be good for stage? Can everybody see what's going on? Is 6 weeks enough time to learn and develop new tricks? These are three things which I think you should take into consideration.
