I remember one day that I showed my dad a few magic effects and inbetween each effect i would shuffle the deck. by shuffling i mean a few flourishes. But there was no real like between magic and flourishing, so I say try and find a medium of magic and flourish that suits you well.

I think the reason why these people did not like the tattoo is because the "set up" for it was not unique you did the same color change like 2 or 3 times before it. I suggest trying a duck change... but I really liked the cutting to the kings. and the double sandwich.

This seems like you wanted to make this for a magician fooler, I feel you oversold a little too much. I do the same thing because i really don't want to get called out on anything. also timing is everything with the way you went about the switch.
