What is your skill level? I would say that the flourishes from the Trilogy are more difficult and better overall, but that's just me. Even though Dangerous is great and has a ton of flourishes, a lot of them are just minor variations that you could've worked out on your own.

I've seen those and those are fine. In fact you guys are some of the only people who perform for real people on youtube. However, this if this is a promo then it should get people excited and interested which it did not. If I only saw that, I would think that you would be just another webcam noob.

I'm sorry but I seriously hate it when people do all these promo videos. Nothing against you, but they don't mean jack. They all focus primarily on tricks when really they should be filming reactions. Everyone's already seen the effects; they want to see your impact on people.

There's nothing wrong with doing cards for kids. Just keep it simple like "that's not your card?" and change it into it. It really doesn't matter what you do as long as you keep them interested and it's not overly complexed. Sponges and cards do the work for everyone.

I quit doing effects with fire as people don't trust a 14 year old kid burning a deck of cards. Who could blame them right? Anyway, that was sooo badass and the corner appearance was twisted.

I only do about 5 or 10 things on a day to day basis, but I have a whole other set for certain occassions.

These are 2 completely different effects. It only depends on what you like. However, since you say that you're short on cash, just go with Thunderbird. It's too badass. I'm not that into Autograph, but it's your choice.

I was utter sh*t the first year I was in this in terms of both presentation and sleights. I wouldn't worry about it too much, but you should make him practice some more; get some sessions where you can tell him where to improve and such.
