Revealing a trick as part of a magic routine.

I don't show how the trick I just did is done, especially if I got a great reaction. It's just shooting yourself in the leg. Sometimes, I do "reveal" certain tricks : For example, using a forcing deck and showing the ACR, then telling them to sign and do it again. It makes them become more...

    Walkaround Magic Opener?

Introduce yourself. It builds up the rapport. Try to study someone before you go up to them. See what kind of people they are.

    Don't Waste My Time

If your lucky you still can find 1 dollar notes =P Paper notes still exist, and it's not that hard to find.

    Magic Banned at School!

TIP : Have a mental photography deck and a normal deck. Play with your normal deck and when you see them coming, switch it for a mental photography deck. Then make the face and back disappear "I can't possibly gamble with this, can I?"

    Genesis VS XtremeBeginnerz

*Genesis speaking to XB* "You complete me" Seriously, get both. XB is to prepare you for practical performance and Genesis is to get the basics moves down

    Don't Waste My Time

Then don't show her. Simple I meet with these people a lot. If you force it on them, they won't enjoy it. The point of magic is to entertain people. If they don't want to be entertained, it's their loss. That aside, I really like showing tricks to casher E.G Bill change and buy a mentos

    DGP Vol.2 Scatter

Did you open the PDF with the computer? If not then I think you have the first version where the pdf was forgotten to be included or something. Then I think you should e-mail Daniel Garcia. I don't own the DVD so don't mark my words. I think I read it somewhere in Magic Cafe or something

    Examinable Bill changes!

I like to do a bill change from 1 to 5 bucks and give it to the casher (That's how much a macdonald's meal cost here)

    De'vo and Cardistry

. . . I'll stick to "flourishing". Sounds more, you know, graceful
  10. L

    To any willing cardists

I use flourishes when I want to imply that the magic happens because of my skill. In other words, I only use it in gambling demonstrations

    Aladdins

I use Aladdins to perform magic as people are less suspecious about the cards I use As for fanning, I think you have the newer version. The older ones had pips at the very edge so it looks better For cardistry, it's good as it is stiffer than normal cards.

    Sticky Card problem

It happens when cards get old. 2 months is a pretty long time for Bikes. Get new ones =P

    Spinning Top/Two Handed Pirouette

I personally use spinning top for both 1 card and 2 cards to make them look the same. - L. Lin

What will you be performing on Christmas?

Evil! Lawl. I'd personally save the crismon deck for halloween =P

Maybe the stupidest question ... ?

Well I do two main types of magic : Close-up and gambling demonstrations. In close-up, I want the spectator to think that the only possible way I did the tricks is by magic, so I don't use cardistry inside. As for gambling demonstrations, I focus on my skills instead, so thats why I learnt...

Sweaty Palms + Cards = BAD

My hands get sweaty when performing for hot babes
  17. L

Not a card trick - my friend got conned.

Is the place you are trying the trick in humid?

CPR Change by Lloyd Barnes // Reviewers Wanted

As a person who does the clipshift, it looks like clipshift without the clip and the shift (If you know what I mean =P) By watching the trailer alone, I'll give it a pass (I figured out the method because, well, of the above reason). However, I'll recommend it to people who have trouble...

    Finally...

I wondered why no one brought this up for T&R. Maybe because its very very old? http://www.magicshop.co.uk/p2527/Four_-_By_Huron_Low_-_DVD/product_info.html Four by Huron Low.

    The Secret Weapon

If you want to perform it, then I suggest carrying two decks wherever you go : one in new deck order and another is a normal deck. You can easily reset the deck after you finish performing.
