Yup, I'm right in Mississauga, like Lee mentioned Browser's Den of Magic is a pretty botspot for Toronto magicians and I go up there once in a while, they're having an anniversery event on November 18th if you want to go. I also heard that Morrisey Magic is a good place and it's right in Toronto.

Well, it's up for me! I like the grittiness although I miss the flash navigation :( Also, the old forum skin really doesn't blend well with the site in my opinion, other than that I really like the new look and organization.

Yes, or if it's just one solid colour, you can use the "magic wand" selection tool, this would work for areas which are just one shade of colour, so the pen would probably work better.

Try clearing your web browsers cache. This is done in firefox by goign to tools > Clear private data > and then select cache Also done similarily with Internet explorer.

They used a different printing press back then, where as these days the use rollers.

Well, it was just put up recently because I hadn't seen it here last time I checked, and the "E" thread has been up since last night.

Seems like you guys had a thorough and fair discussion, and it was civil and pretty flame less, maybe people will take example of how to conduct their disagreements in the future based on this.

I completely agree with this post, but I'd have to say that to me personally, swearing hasn't been an issue around here. Yes there are people who want it to be allowed, well, it can be ended with just a simple "no." But yes, if swearing was "officially" allowed, which I highly doubt will...

The printing presses which were used were stopped being created, where as before they used pressing methods, now they roll them out. I suppose it would be too much of a hassle to reproduce the old machinery and the new one is alot more efficient and that's why they aren't produced anymore...

some what, but Sony in my opinion is taking the lead with digital cameras, I did some research and you can find some nice ones around the 500-600$ range. Yes Dark Angel, I agree if he does wish to do it live a webcam will work, but I'm pretty sure you can also stream video with a digital...

Rather than getting a webcam, I suggest you buy a digital camera so you can film performances and other stuff apart from magic as well. I'm in the same process as you and am looking for a good camera, there have been a few good threads, but a refresher wouldn't be bad;) I know the Sony fx...

I don't think anyone out there knows every single trick and or method and there are new ones always coming up so no, I don't think they will no of everything out there. Maybe eventually, but definately not the below average effects as it is their job to only give the best, in most cases as David...
