Chosen/signed card is lost in the deck, tossed inside an empty Starbucks cup, lid placed on it. The magician pulls the card through the cup and hands it to the spectator. Easy enough effect for any magician, but it kills people at Starbucks. :)

All my body art isn't really magic related. I've wanted to get a tat for that for a while tho.. although I'd like to be able to use it for an effect as well. Maybe make all 4 aces vanish from the deck and end up on my arm or something...

Aw, c'mon.. you know the first few are gonna end up that way, EVERYONE does that their first few times. The subtlety of a simple cross fade, jump cut, slide cut or smash cut is something that has to be learned from experience. :p

I do magic because I find it totally fascinating, even when I'm the one doing it or creating the effects. I love the artistry of it.. creation is 1,000 times harder than destruction, and I do enough destruction as it is. Oh, and getting paid to do something I love is alright too. >:)

I typically use Final Cut Pro, but I'm a mac guy... if I'm doing video editing on a Windows based machine, nothing can even hold a candle to Adobe Premiere... although you're gonna be paying out the butt for those software titles... keep telling yourself software piracy is wrong... software...
