Wow, last night I convinced myself to learn this move and sat for about an hour doing it, I can now finally get a decent spread, still needs lots of practice and it'll get better. This brings me to my point, trust me...
...The best thing to do is just practice, no matter how many time I read...
Lol, I think that's the best exageration ever, you get my medal ;)
Topicwise, I agree that people shouldn't jump all over each other about using the search button, but it is pretty handy if you ask me and helps save you from "flaming" treatment.
Sounds great and congratulations on that performance, but I agree with the memory thing, I personally haven't had that issue yet because I don't "do" gigs yet.
I don't think they'll come out with another massive package like The Trilogy anytime soon...but maybe they will, surprise me! ;)
As for the cards, sounds sweet, I'm guessing there are no pictures thus far, but can't wait to see them.
Guys, I'm sure he understands that he need a new deck, no need to yell at him.
I believe he made this thread with good thought in mind and believed that all the gimmicks were for blue backed cards. This would be well stated and can be a warning for people who enjoy using only red backed cards...
I haven't had that situation occur to me yet as most of my material is impromptu, but I just suggest a simple no like stated above and a polite apology, and it should be fine :)
Congratulations man, I always enjoy reading your posts, either they're filled with tips and philosophy to help out others, or just another post filled with a joke, it makes reading it more enjoyable, congratulations sir :)
From what I've heard, they are high quality, and at the same time rare, so I guess that makes them twice as rare ;)
But really, yes they are both high quality cards and are out of print now.
I agree, yes, freak out reactions are great too, but I tend to watch the spectators eyes at the end of a trick, they tell me the full story if I was succesful in creating a moment of astonishment or not.
I haven't met Chris personally or really had a conversation, but I've heard alot of great stuff about him. Also considering the reputation he has behind him, I give him alot of respect.
I agree completely, I always searched for the complex and fancy tricks and yet I've gotten THE best reaction ever with the Biddle trick, extremely simple but effective.
I can easily say, "I've learned my lesson".
:)
I had alot of trouble with the pressure fan as well and I still cannot do it in a nice circle, but I'm getting there (kind of got sidetracked with under pressure). I just usggest practice and don't be afraid to actually "bend" the cards because you'll need that. Other than that, take everyone...
Cuso, I love your performance! The handling is great and it just looks amazingly smooth, I also really enjoyed the editing.
As for the move itself, it's really great, nice nifty little effect and congratulations on your successful performance :)
It is pretty advanced, but like others have said if you have determination, you could learn some of the stuff. But personally, if you just started, you should opt for some other material which has been mentioned above and I'll re-mention.
Royal Road to card magic and the Card college books are...
