TresPass by Lee Asher - Review

I'm not sure what to say about this pass. It's awful. My head nearly snapped back when Lee did the pass and gestured toward his watch. This might be something to play around with at your local magic club or convention, but I can't see doing this for real people. I hope that T11 (with it's...

    Invisible Reverse 1-on-1 Review

First, let me say I think this is the best download on the T11 site. While many of you younger guys talk about how much you're practicing the Molecule Cut and other more difficult feats, there is this gem sitting here - and beautifully taught by Chris. I've been doing magic for a long time and...

    Paul Harris Whack your Pack

Wack Your Pack requires a really strong personality to pull off. It can also be found in Mike Ammar's Magical Arts Journal Paul Harris issue. Another option for you is Vernon's Fingerprint Trick, which is very similar.

    Questions on various products

Card to Wallet - try a Mullica Wallet - no palming for the basic effect, and you will find lots of variations in magic books Spur of the moment - Jardine rubber bands, or Chris Kenner's "The Missing Link" also sometimes known as Band Across The Globe. It's a tough trick to do well and not...

    Making your own Panic gimmick?

Here's an idea...buy one for 25 bucks. The artist worked hard to create the product and you should pay for one if you want to perform it.

3 card monte? Magic with watches?

I absolutely agree that Michael Skinner's 3 Card Monte is incredible. And not all watch routines need to use gimmicks. Michael Weber had one called Swatch This in Richard's Almanac that was pretty interesting. You might want to check his book Lifesavers. This trick might be there also.

    4for4 switch

The switch is pretty easy, and that's what actually makes it pretty difficult. If you can afford it, and the move is part of a routine that you really want to do, then it makes sense to watch Chris' version. Chris taught me this switch back in the mid-90's but I still enjoyed the teaching and...

    Why is it?

Although I agree with several of the previous posters concerning gratitude, I will take a different approach. There are some great routines that use age old magic set props - and turn them into audience killers. One example is Mike Close's "Renaldo the Great" from his Workers books - a modern...

    Floating Light Bulb Effect

Why not do something that will let you show off your personality a bit? Maybe a Jumbo Invisible Deck or a simple rope routine (Daryl has a couple of good ones). A floating light bulb is more entertaining to the magician performing it than the audience watching it.

    Elevator Effects

Yes, that's it. I have one of the original Out of Control/Totally Out of Control flip books, signed by Homer Liwag and Chris. I've seen Chris, Homer, and Brett Wolf perform the elevator at the legendary and now-closed Illusions Restaurant in Carmel, IN.

    Elevator Effects

Chris Kenner has an incredible elevator card effect called SW Elevator. I also remember "Raise Rise" being published in the first year of Mike Ammar's Magical Arts Journal. Chris did a lot of the illustrations for MAJ back in the day...
